Taken May 29, 2000. I'm standing in front of Gus's Grocery on Osos Street in San Luis Obispo, California. Here you will find the BEST sandwiches in the entire world. This used to be just a corner grocery store and deli, but once everyone discovered how good their sandwiches were, they decided to ditch the grocery store altogether. This place encompasses all of what makes San Luis Obispo a special place. If you get your sandwich to go, you'll miss out on the nice atmosphere their lovely patio provides (floral entrance on the right.) San Luis Sourdough bread is available (and highly recommended by me.) They also offer every imaginable type of sandwich ingredient including tri-tip! Yeah! If you're ever in San Luis Obispo, this is where you want to have lunch.
